As a woman who has battled alopecia areata my entire life, I understand what it means to struggle with an illness that’s misunderstood and judged at the same time. Losing my hair as a child was devastating, but I later discovered my condition could become a blessing for others. In my 40+ year career I’ve worked with women of all races and socio-economic backgrounds, formulating hair replacement services based on client needs. For clients with trichotillomania, my anti-pulling methodologies have helped deter the behavior and contributed to hair growth. I’ve received several accolades for my work, including the Shining Star and Happiness Awards, and a San Francisco Commendation from the Board of Supervisors for the positive impact my hair services have had on women. I’m also a 7-time award-winning author of a book geared toward helping women losing their hair triumph over adversity and emerge with renewed confidence and self-esteem.

I am a New York City based Hairstylist and Trichologist and the founder of Wig Atelier, a line of beautiful European hair wigs and toppers. I specialize in issues with hair loss.
