Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Renae M. Reinardy, Psy.D. is the founder and director of the Lakeside Center for Behavioral Change. For over 20 years, she has specialized in the evidence-based treatment of body focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, hoarding disorder, Tourette syndrome, and related conditions.Dr. Reinardy is a faculty member of the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) for the International OCD Foundation. She is an author of The BFRB Recovery Workbook: A Step-By-Step Guide to Effective Recovery from Hair Pulling, Skin Picking, Nail Biting, and Other Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in integrative psychotherapy and childhood mental health. Dr. Reinardy has served as a faculty member of the TLC Foundation for Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors Professional Training Institute (PTI). She is an internationally recognized expert in her areas of specialty and is a frequent keynote speaker, professional presenter, and media contributor.
