biografía

Hi, it’s nice to meet you! I work with adults and adolescents with OCD and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) like skin picking and hair pulling. I own a small private practice, which allows me to limit the amount of clients I see and provide quality care unlike large, generalist therapy offices. The work we do will be collaborative and goal-orientated, which is why we will create a treatment plan. You’ll learn about what’s happening (psychoeducation), increase awareness, and learn skills and tools to reduce unwanted behaviors. Guilt and shame often accompany body-focused repetitive behaviors, which we will also address. I offer neurodiverse-affirming care (ASD, ADHD) by highlighting strengths and honoring limitations. Comprehensive behavioral treatment has been recognized by TLC and its Scientific Advisory Board as a gold standard treatment for BFRPs which is why I work with this therapy when treating BFRBs.
