Dr. Javier specializes in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral treatments for trichotillomania and skin picking, as well as OCD and anxiety disorders. Within the context of a caring and warm relationship, he tailors his approach to the individual's specific needs and goals. He treats older adolescents and Adults both via video sessions and in his office conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan in New York City. Dr. Javier is originally from Spain, and have lived for the past twenty-five years in the United States. He is fully bilingual in English and in Spanish, and he conducts therapy in both languages
