biography

Dr. Morrison is a licensed psychologist who provides services through videoconferencing in numerous states (see her website for details). She specializes in assessment and behavioral treatment of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and related disorders. Dr. Morrison provides evidence-based treatment for these concerns and symptoms that can accompany them. She completed her training at the University of Nevada-Reno, Utah State University, and the VA Puget Sound-Seattle Division where she focused on treatment of obsessive compulsive and related disorders. She learned Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Habit Reversal from leaders in the field. She has conducted research and written papers and book chapters on these topics. Treatment of BFRBs and related disorders is the majority of Dr. Morrison's practice. Dr. Morrison has provided treatment via videoconferencing since 2014 and is an advocate for increasing access to quality mental health services, especially in rural areas.
