Mary Ann Travis

Dr. Mary Travis's treatment plans are customized to fit the individual. Cases have similarities, but each client needs to have that unique "twist" that enables them to fully participate in their recovery. She helps parents cope with a child's BFRB. Dr. Travis facilitates recovery from Baby Trich by working with parents. She finds that younger clients and clients seeking treatment for the first time benefit most from CBT or ComB._ Adults and those who have been to months or years of unsuccessful therapy are hampered by internalized shame. Those clients need help to tap their self-compassion and creativity in order to gain hope and participate fully in their own recovery. Dr. Travis also has SKYPE sessions available and she can adjust to different schedules.
