I provide telehealth services to Children (7 yrs +), Teens, and Adults. I offer individual and family therapy services in California. I incorporate the ComB model, DBT and CBT approaches with an emphasis on mindfulness practices with BFRB cases. Treatment typically includes some form of self-monitoring, behavior chains when appropriate, teaching relaxation/distress tolerance skills, emotional regulation skills and assisting clients with sensory substitutes to help reduce the behavior. I also have training in play therapy approaches and bring an element of play to adapt treatment to my younger clients.

biography
I have been in the mental health field for 10 years and 7 years providing therapy services. I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a doctoral student. I completed my training and clinical experience in a variety of settings including Children’s outpatient psychiatry clinics, intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment centers and private practice settings with a focus on comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for Adults and Teens. I have additional training in evidenced-based approaches such as DBT and play therapy. I am a graduate of the TLC's Virtual Training program with Body-Focused-Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs). I work with clients ages 7 years-old to adulthood. I help clients learn to balance change and acceptance in their everyday lives. I guide clients in building mindfulness skills, learn how to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, communicate effectively, and ultimately live the life they want for themselves.
