The Johns Hopkins Center for OCD, Anxiety, & Related Disorders for Children (COACH) is looking for participants with Trichotillomania, or hair pulling, to participate in a study examining the effects of a smart wearable device on an individual’s awareness, frequency, and severity of hair pulling behaviors. Potential benefits of the study include a decrease in automatic hair pulling behaviors and their severity.

Participation will last 4 weeks and will consist of 3 assessment sessions, conducted in-person at the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore campus. Eligible participants must be 18 years or older, meet diagnostic criteria for trichotillomania, willing to attend appointments in-person, and be English speaking.

Participants will receive a $20 gift card for completing each assessment visit (up to $60 in total for completing all 3 study visits), along with a voucher to cover the cost of parking if needed. Participants can also choose to withdraw from the study at any time and all records and information will be kept confidential.

If you are interested or have any questions, please email coach@jhmi.edu or call 443-300-8836 to learn more details about the study and eligibility.

This article provides valuable insight into an often overlooked but important topic. The professional approach and clarity in explaining the initiative make it both informative and reassuring. It’s encouraging to see such focused efforts being highlighted. While reading, I was reminded of a similar discussion I encountered on a review blog, where https://www.attn2detail.info/ was mentioned in the context of carefully presenting sensitive topics—something your post also handles very well. Thank you for sharing such meaningful and impactful information.

I’ve read a lot about Mordovia State University, and it seems to provide a strong learning environment with modern infrastructure. Many students prefer it because of its globally recognized degrees and student-friendly campus facilities.
